There are little things, That brighten my day, But all the bigger things, They get in our way. I feel like I'm holding this world, From crumbling down, And on the tip of my finger, We're twirling around. Pre-Chorus: It's becoming a useless world out here, The air is filling up with things unclear. Chorus: What if our enemies turned into friends, Wars don't stop because they never begin, In a peaceful world, In a perfect world. And I've seen thousands of people, Screaming out loud, To give peace a chance, What a beautiful sound. It's one thing to be done, And one to be heard, Mom always said actions speak louder than words. Pre-Chorus: It's becoming a useless world out here, The air is filling up with things unclear. Chorus: What if our enemies turned into friends, Wars don't stop because they never begin, In a peaceful world, In a perfect world. Where all our pains turn into dust, Where our worries become trusts, In a simple world. In a perfect world.
